Tingle Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use this App (Tingle), and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
We use your personal data solely to provide the service that this App is designed for. By using this App, you agree to the use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Note that we do not actually "collect" any personal data as such.
The only personal information that we store is data that you have entered into your profile in the App (under "My Profile"), which may, depending on your choices, contain no personal information whatsoever (but see Bluetooth MAC Address below)
In your Profile (My Profile in the main menu), the only mandatory items are as follows:
- User/Profile name (this will be visible to others on your profile)
- Your Gender (Male or Female or Diverse)
- The Gender you seek (Male and/or Female and/or Diverse)
In other words, you are not required to give your real name, your device's phone number, your email address, or any other personal information
Bluetooth MAC Address
Whilst your Bluetooth MAC Address might not be considered personal information, this IS the only piece of information about you (actually about your phone/device) that we need to capture and store.
Every device in the world that connects to the Internet, whether by Ethernet, Wifi, Bluetooth etc, has a unique MAC Address (Media Access Control Address).
Tingle has to use your Bluetooth MAC address to identify you, since we don't ask for any personal identifying information, such as Name, email address, or phone number.
Please note that you cannot be identified by your Bluetooth MAC Address falling into the wrong hands. Even WE can't identify you!

While using our App, you will asked to provide certain personally identifiable information that could, at least in theory, be used to identify you. Personally identifiable information consists of:
- Your device's Bluetooth MAC Address
Location Data
Location Data is logged only if you have switched this functionality on. By default, it is switched off.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our App.
Use of Your Personal Data
We do not use your Personal Data. Remember, we have no access to it!
Retention of Your Personal Data
We do not retain your Personal Data. Remember, we have no access to it!

We do not transfer your Personal Data. Remember, we have no access to it!

We do not disclose your Personal Data. Remember, we have no access to it!
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13, nor indeed of anyone of any age.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We suggest you review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
We will let you know via the Google Play Store "What's new" page on the App Updates screen when a change becomes effective and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
